About GearSift

GearSift publishes short, practical buying guides for desk tech and everyday gadgets — mechanical keyboards, audio gear, grooming tools, and desk setup accessories.

How guides are written

Each guide starts from a real buying question (“which budget mechanical keyboard is actually good?”) and answers it directly: a quick verdict up top, a comparison of the main options, clear pros and cons, and a plain recommendation of who should buy and who should skip. Specs come from manufacturer listings and buyer feedback; prices are given as ranges because they change often.

How the site makes money

GearSift is reader-supported through affiliate links. When a purchase is made through a link on this site, the site may earn a commission at no extra cost to the buyer. This does not change how products are ranked. See the affiliate disclosure for details.

Updates

Guides are reviewed periodically. If a product is discontinued or a price range is clearly outdated, the guide is updated or replaced.
